James Walter Dunsmore, 81, retired farmer, died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home following an extended illness. He was a native of Monroe County, West Virginia, and had resided in Delaware County for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He formerly resided at 2100 Broadway.
He is survived by five sons, Marshall of Muncie, Harold of Parker, Lee of Redkey, and Medford and Thomas of Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Waymire of Matthews, and Mrs. Gerald Kegerreis of R.R.4 Hartford City; 38 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lester Dunsmore, of Union City, Va.
Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Parson Mortuary.
